The cigar is highlighted by a limited reserve San Andreas wrapper with long filler from Esteli underneath. The cigar's profile is medium in strength, full in flavor, and medium plus in body, providing a smooth, rich smoking experience with white pepper on the retrohale, and chocolate, coffee, and cream on the finish.

Our goal was to create a cigar with a traditional Nicaraguan flavor profile - one that provides great flavor, has a good amount of strength and is balanced by sweetness. The Cubanesque wrapper aged for 2 years offers an oily sheen that compliments superior construction providing a razor like burn. This proprietary blend provides a combination of strength, flavor intensity, and sweetness that are the essence of the cigar.

The idea behind this blend was to be notably different from the kind of Connecticut wrapped cigar you find in the market today, which is typically light and mild. This is a Connecticut cigar with a lot of flavor and a little bit of strength. The Leaf Connecticut is a cigar that can be enjoyed any time of day, not just a “morning cigar.”

Originally blended to be a medium/full cigar with lots of character, the maturation process along with extra Ligero brought out a rich, lush but spicy profile that not only augmented the overall strength of the cigar, but positively impacted the flavor. This cigar offers a an incredibly unique and decadent mix of sweetness, spice with subtle earth undertones. Truly a flavor bomb, (not a nicotine bomb), it packs a stunning punch along with tons of mouthfeel and flavor.
